Here is a look at my elastic smocked dress. I can wear it as a dress or as a skirt. Very comfy and easy to make. It is very repetitious so I was about to give up on my sixth row, took a little break and came back to it. Thanks Corinnea for inspiring me and for all your help answering a billion questions :)

I saw this cute button bracelet on flikr the other day that I really liked. So I thought I make me one. I wore it yesterday evening to watch tv (Ivan thought I was crazy), maybe he is right(?). Call me crazy if you want, who cares :) Any ways, every time I move my hand it makes this little jingle sound that makes me smile. I covered the buttons with the American Jane, Recess fabric and love looking at the fun bright colors. I might make some to sell at the shop I might even make a necklace.

My next quilt "Single Girl" by Denyse Schmidt. The frabric will be Nautica & Nice by moda. This will be the quilt that I make for Gio for his next school year. I am so excited! I have been looking at this pattern for months now on Pottery Barn. I loved it but they are selling it (I think) for about $300.00 to $400.00 ouch!

Summer indulgence! One of my favorite things is to pamper myself . Love to get pedi's and mani's, facials and a good massage (the entire spa treatment). I am sure I am not the only one. I think all women enjoy a few minutes of pampering :) So, in honor of that i decided to give myself a pedi and get ready for flip flops, sandals and open toe shoes. So so ready :)
LOVE my new skirt! So comfy and chick... It is the simplest thing I think I've ever made. This was created with two worn out t-shirts. I will be going to wal-mart and buying some large man haynes t-shirt and making them in every color. I think the only thing I will change is the elastic I did't have 1" so I used the thin , I believe 1/4" (not sure). I want to also try it shirred like Corinnea's skirt.

Sorry about the pictures they are not the best. trying to find good lighting in the house is impossible and trying not to take a picture of the hat on without capturing me is even harder (just wanted the hat in the pic). I will make it with another fabric I just wanted to see if I would even like it.
SOOOOO ready for warm weather!!! What's up with this weather? I don't care, I will not let it ruin my spirit of warm summer breezy days. I will wear this skirt even if I freeze my tushie. I was inspired by Corinnea's and Katelyn's beautiful breezy summer skirts. Fabric by Heather Bailey's Nicey Jane :) LOVE this new line...
