EASTER BASKET

I bought one of Laura's Easter eggs bundle and needed a small basket for them. I remember that Jennifer had found a great and very easy tutorial on the cutest little basket. So here is my "Easter Basket"... Thanks Jennifer :-)

I am thinking of making labels. I came up with this design, what do y'all think? The top will be the front and the bottom will be the back....

A little bit of this and a little bit of that

My second clutch... This one came out alot better than the other one. hopefully now I got the hang of it. Getting ready for my trip at the end of April so I started making some shoe bags. Aren't they cute? I always pack my shoes in the apotheke bags which it works just the same but these look sooo much nicer.

I also made a bag for my brushes and hairclips. I usually pack them in zip lock bags. They are certainly not as nice and cute as this one.....

and the last project of the day, a pot holder with a grommet! Yes a grommet!!! Cool huh, I think so... got this idea from one of my faborite blogger.

PLACEMAT

I have been making more mushrooms. My stash is growing but it seems like I will be making them for a while if I want to make a quilt. In the mean time, I saw this placemat and the little light bulb I have up there some where lit up. Voila!!! here is my placemat. One down 5 to go ;)
I have been creating this purse in my head for a long time. Finally yesterday, I decided to give it try. I procrastinate when it comes to making a new project that I do not have instructions to follow because I do not want to ruin my beautiful and expensive fabric. I am glad I finally made it! I am very happy with the way it came out and I can now lay down to sleep and not torture myself thinking about it. Does that happen to anyone?

Made this coin purse the other day for Adrienne. It is not exactly what I promised her but it has to do for now.

I few months back Katelyn bought me the animal fabric from ikea and I was thrilled when I saw it. I wanted to cut out the animal prints and sew it to the baby one piece suite. I had also bought some dye at the store and have been a little afraid to use it because I did not want to mess up the outfit. Well today I got the courage and played with it and I was static with the final product. Here is one of them (orange). The white one I made with one of my mushrooms and added some ruffles to the tushie area.
I still have to zig zag the mushroom square but did not have red thread.

CLUTCH

Clutches are back in style, so I though I make my own. It's definitely not perfect but I had this idea in my head and I had to try it. I use left over fabric for this one but I bought some of the newspaper prints (don't know the name of the line) and I am planning on making one with that line. Wouldn't it be cool! Ohh, and if you haven't noticed I 'm into ruffles at the moment so everything I make might just have some ruffles....
Excuse the lint I should of use my lint roller before I posted ;-)
More mushrooms...
I made this cute little purse with the new 5x5 charm packs that just arrived in the shop. Very very very simple to make. I am not a pink person but these color and designs remind me of a scrapbooking line so I had to make something out of it.... I love that fact that I didn't have to cut anything. I dislike cutting so you will be seeing more simple projects like this one.

Created this cute ruffle pillow today.... I do not know if you remember but during fall I made a pumpkin with ruffles. I wanted to try to make a
pillow like it with fall colors but never got around to it. So, today I got the urge again and decided to give it a try with white muslin. I really like the way it turned out. I'm going to make 3 more to throw on top of my sofas :)
