SOOOO READY FOR SPRING!

Finished !!!!! YAYYYY, loving these bringht colors, and totally digging this fabric. I think I might make another quilt with this same line.

I had found this really cute tutorial on the Matryoshka Dolls and I thought I give it a try. The tutorial had most of the doll embroidered and hand stitched so I adjusted the pattern a little bit by making it bigger, adding fabric to the pouch and machine stitched. Not as cute as the original version (I will try it at some point). They are stackable like the wooden ones. If you have more than one child you keep stacking them inside each kids pouch. Reminds me of a Kangaroo. I use the American Jane fabric for the pouch, Loving this fabric :)

I started these little blocks of mushrooms today. Not sure what I will do with them but I am enjoying doing them and that 's what counts ;-)

A few weeks back Deana brought in this cute little bag with the most adorable fabric. I fell in love with it so I thought I might try to make me one. This is Lizy's version it can't be compared to the one Deana brought in.

I used some scraps that I had left because I was not sure if I could even figure out how to make it. I am happy with the results and I think the next one will be with some fun bright fabric :)

SNEAK PEEK d(-_-)b

Started just loving this line eventhough we've had it at the shop for a year or soooo. The colors are fun and bright, makes me think of spring and summer :) This is like nothing I have ever done color wise as I tend to be more on the conservative side. I think I am liking it. What do y'all think?

FRESHLY OUT OF THE LONG ARM

Just freshly made. Came out of the long arm a few hours ago. No binding yet ... This quilt reminds me of a snowie winter day :) Perfect for this weather. I had to go outside and take some pictures in the snow which my other half thought I was totally insane.... It was all worth it......

Things I have been working on

I have been wanting to try this block for a while now. last night I could not sleep so around 10:30 I decided to try it. I followed this easy tutorial. If you noticed closely I messed up

when I cut the bottom of the heart so the placing is wrong. Oh well, it was late and was getting tired. Someday I think I will make a quilt :).PJ shorts for my hubby :-)

PJ shorts for Gio and his girl :-) I did a draw string for them but it was not in when I took this picture. Looks weird without it.

PARIS

Created this LO for a challenge in Digiridoo. The colors are a little bit lighter than what they were asking for so not sure if it will qualify.

Summer Blouse with a few minor alterations. the pattern calls for a light weight cotton and I thought that this would be a good fabric for the pattern but it turns out that it's a little stiff so I made a few modifications to the blouse. I also made it longer because I did not like the length the pattern suggested.

A certain someone asked me to make her a bag with a long strap so that she can hang it over her shoulder. Well here it is. It just needs minor adjustments and a zipper that Corinnea will be helping me with.
