Niece's Prego Pic

Our niece had her Baby Shower last weekend.  Her mother had taken some pictures of her so that they can be placed on the tables. She emailed the photos to us to see them since we weren't going to be there. I thought I play a little with them in photoshop.  They were happy with the results and so was I. This girl is 7 months pregnant and she look fantastic!  She's gained 7 lbs so far (can you believe that)! She is a health freak, so I guess that pays off.

She has asked me to make her a scrapbook of her pregnancy and her baby shower.  This is one of the LO. 

NEW QUILTS

I had some extra  blocks so I decided to piece to the back.  I am glad I did because I like it a lot!

 Gio's GF's quilt... Free Spirit - Lovebirds and Butterflies. Love this new line specially the lobebirds.  You can't really see it but some of the blocks are the lovebirds (my favorites of course)....Just needs the binding, yackkkkkkk....

This one has been quilted for about a month already and is sitting on my couch just waiting for the binding which I have been procrastinating cause I just dislike it soooo darn much :)

Claire Cami Dress

Love this pattern!  Very simple to follow and easy to make. I made it a bit short so I had to add the white hem.  I think I like it more than without it.  I also tapered the sides a little bit because it was to wide on the sides for me but other than that I love this dress.   I might just have to make me another one.

HONEY'S BIRTHDAY

 

This weekend was my honey's Birthday, he turned 40ish!!!  To celebrate it, we went to Eagles Nest.  The

weather was cold and gloomy.  Too cloudy to see anything.  When the weather is sunny they say you can see as far as 125 mile radius.  We were a little disappointed but we still had an amazing time.  We always find a way to make it fun.  Of course what is fun for me might not be exactly the same for Ivan.  He still humors me and goes with the flow of my craziness (creative side).  I love this guy ;-) 

 The beauty of photoshop you don't have to have an ugly photo any more,  I'll show the before and after later.

BODENSEE & the beginning of a QUILT

BODENSEE

This weekend we went to Bodensee :) I can't believe I have been living here in Stuttgat for 3 years and I didn't know about this magnificent getaway.  We just went there for a few hours but it is definitely worth going there for a weekend getaway. I have to thank Corinnea for the great pictures she had posted on her blog that made me want to ask her all about her trip.

Gio's New Quilt

The fabric is by Moda, Nautica & Nice.  Gio loves the ocean. He loves fishing, sailing, rowing, swimming anything that has to do with the water. I really liked this fabric and I thought he might also enjoy a nautica theme in his room this year.

NEW toy/top

Yesterday we went to pick up Ivan's/our new toy and a a new outfit how to be worn for the occasion.  I almost messed it up because I forgot that you had to iron the elastic for it to shrink. I cut it and sew it before I did that.  It almost didn't fit me.

T-shirts REFASHION to a dress

Photos were taken by my DH. I love him for humoring me and stopping on the side of the road today to take these pictures. I Love making things out of t-shirts. So fun and easy to work with. The best part is that it hides the mistakes really well.
